We've started a monthly newsletter at Arrow.

  • Tips & Help - Keep your vehicle running longer and serving you better.

  • Useful links - Links to articles on smart car shopping, and how to get that great deal, even if you don't purchase from us.

  • Incentive Watch - The latest incentives and rebates, including lesser known incentives you might not hear about (unless you shop with us). This month

    • Free Toshiba 32" Flat Screen TV with every full sized GMC Truck and every new Yukon and Yukon XL

  • Keep Smiling - A little bit of fun and humor to brighten your day.

  • Car Cookin' - We aren't really gourmet chefs, but we'd like to pass along an occasional recipe or food related tip or story from our staff. Warning! Their tastes range from sushi to meatloaf.

  • Coming Up - Preview of next month.

What is Arrow?
Feature Article

The news letter isn't supposed to be about us, but about you, all of our customers. But we want to introduce who we are. We came up with the following. As you will see, it's not the typical information you would read in an annual report or a newspaper spot.

"Hello. We're pleased to meet you. We are Arrow. Let us introduce ourselves."

From the outside, Arrow is a business, a corporation and sometimes guilty by association. It may be viewed like dealerships of the past; a place where you wonder if you can trust the technicians to repair problems and not create more. You wonder if the salespeople will greet you at the door with a  cigarette in hand, ready to pressure you. You wonder if you will get a fair deal or drive away with a potential nightmare.  Maybe that's why the annual Honesty and Ethical Ratings Survey of Groups and Professions, ranked car salespersons with a score of -48 points, which put them in last place. Times have changed. Arrow isn't one of "those" dealerships. It never has been. But let's take a look at Arrow in another way; not from the outside in, but from the inside out.

There has been a lot of talk about the national and local economy with a shift in focus from corporate earnings and the stock market to the financial well being of average everyday people; you and me. Did you know Arrow 57 of us? Combined we have over 175 children and grandchildren who attend schools and colleges or still ride around in strollers. Yes we are employees, but we are also people. We pay rent or a mortgage, have a car payment, buy groceries and cringe at the price of gas, just like you. We're more than just a list. We're more than statistics. There is a long list of us who give back to the community.

As a business, Arrow is a major supporter of the United Way, the food shelf program and it works to be a good neighbor and partner in the local community. Arrow has contributed to many local causes, supported the schools, and held community events to support our troops. That's commendable, but let's look outward again. Among us 57 individuals are people and family members who donate their time, money, and service far beyond Arrow the business. We have employees involved as mentors, coaches, counselors, board members and sponsors. We are active in Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America (MSAA), the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA), Walk for the Cure, Caring and Sharing Hands, Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts of America, Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), Gamblers Anonymous (GA). The list goes on. You have the idea.

We are an interesting group. Among us we have a magician, a singer, an author, master gardeners, gourmet cooks, Masons, Elks, and Shriners. We live in the community. We work in the community. We are part of the community. We are your neighbor, maybe a relative, a friend or maybe just someone who says, "good morning," to you in our service department. We are Arrow.

Incentive Watch

We have two new incentives to announce this month.

GM Military Discount & S tudent: GM has just increased the discount it gives our service men and women. The prior discount was a $500 rebate. The new discount allows all active military personnel to purchase at the GM Supplier Price which is below invoice on most vehicles. The price gets even lower when you stack all the current incentives and rebates available on top of that discount. Please contact Mike Blumer at Arrow for more information or a price quote.

Free Toshiba 32" Flat Screen Television:  Receive a new digital TV (no converter box worries) with the purchase of any new Full Sized GMC Truck or any GMC Yukon or Yukon XL.  Relax on the road in one of these amazing vehicles or relax at home watching your favorite show. Come in and take a test drive today.
